  • Boris Johnson has broken the record for the most money raised by a British politician in his bid to become Prime Minister, winning the backing of Eurosceptic financiers after hardening his Brexit stance with a “do or die” pledge.
  • Oil futures fell more than 1% on Wednesday, after the US government data showed large builds in fuel inventories.
  • Finance Ministers from the G-7 countries expressed their concerns over Facebook’s Libra digital coin, insisting tough regulatory problems would have to be worked out first.
